A promise to Kenny to send Nelson to a peaceful rest, when/if Kenny could no longer care for him, was taken care of the day after Kenny passed. Nelson was 15 and, although was not yet suffering, was on the decline. He went peacefully so that he didn't have to suffer thru missing Kenny. That is what the rest of us have to do....
